The smell in the room was a major letdown. I needed to switch rooms after being hit with an odor reminiscent of something less than fresh. Also, I encountered duct tape holding together a chair in my room, which gave off some serious 'this isn't right' vibes. It's not ideal to walk past worker boots lining the hallway either. it detracts from the overall ambiance of the place.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff made everything so easy for our family with children, especially Raychelle, who went above and beyond to help with an issue I had with my car keys. The kids loved the nearby Audubon Zoo, which was a perfect outing during our trip. The room was well-equipped with a DVD player for family movie nights, making our time together truly enjoyable.
My wife says that it would be great to have more kid-friendly dining options available.

The burgers at the nearby joint were straight-up legendary! I swear I could taste the happiness in every bite. Plus, the snack bar had a nice little variety, perfect for a midnight munchie raid. The friendliness of the staff really made us feel at home!
Oh boy, the smell in the room was a real head-scratcher! Switched rooms but still needed a full can of Lysol to breathe easy. And that duct-taped chair? Yikes! I mean, come on, it’s not a shanty town!

I had a wonderful weekend staying here, with the friendly staff making my visit a pleasure and it's just a quick streetcar ride to downtown New Orleans where countless landmarks await, not to mention the lovely park views nearby that are ideal for relaxing strolls.
